I’m Alive 2025 - January Connection Hour.

I both see so many apathetic feelings in the way so many of us have felt leading up to the end of this year.

Not wanting to do anything.

Not feeling excited about much.

Having an underlying life feeling that just is a bit grayer than we would like.

Within the last 5 or so years, we have been through the most ridiculous ups and downs that we have had no control over.

Lockdown in home, the education system changing, job loss, businesses shutting down, nothing going back quite the same way, random public violence, financial issues, healthcare issues, everyone learning on Tik Tok that they are neurodiverse, what a narc is, or how much money people can make with toe pics and booger eating all while hard workers are going down, the absolute political messes throughout, hearing about wars both near and far, threats of WW3, worried about where we go, what we say, suicide is up, drug deaths are up, natural disasters are up, all while people are getting burned on subways who didn't even say anything next to people who do nothing, and I'm sure the list goes on.

We have been put in situations consistently that are beyond what the nervous system can know about without doing damage control, leaving some us to be in that fight, flight, freeze, fawn, more often than we should be.

We aren't feeling safe or healed from the last things, when the new things on top of the rest of normal life things, just keep coming.

And so we numb.

Or we argue.

Or we isolate.

Or we keep trying to find our way, finding little bit's of joy,

Some of us, even if we have to pretend for the good of ourselves or our kids.

Or we mix it all up hoping.

And it does't mean every day is bad, but just this overall nagging feeling that too much isn't right.

I remember all through 2024 thinking I was going to name my first program of 2025 "High Five 2025" lol .. and it's just not.

So introducing "I'm Alive".

I'm Alive 2025, because it's better than "Still Here" lol. But the sad truth is that there are many that aren't, because life get's hard.

I want to move forward into the next year knowing that I'm doing something to help, both myself and others, even if it’s small.

Here's what it is.

30 Days, Live on Zoom together, 7 days a week at 10 am. (You come when yo can and when you want)

Creating connection, body doubling, understanding where we are at, and a reminder we are still in this together.

Pop in and out as you please.

Be muted if you want to listen or just need the community, talk if you desire to share. Maybe a little about what this all may have cost you, or about what still sparks that little bit of hope. Use the time to get productive if it inspires you to do so, or even to fall asleep if you finally feel safe, and lastly we will all be sharing the things that are helping our nervous system and our life to actually allow joy!

It will be done in it's own FB group, where the recordings will be, and you can post as well.

The point of it is to come in to this and remember you aren't alone being in this weird space we seem to be lingering in, while figuring our way forward with more zest, and less on your chest, lol.

It's different than a lot of the stuff I do, and I'm still doing the MMH stuff, but just like the point of this whole thing, trying something a little different that I feel is missing, and is needed. <3
